オリジナルは72年にリリースされた、Lee Perryがプロデュースした作品をまとめたコンピレーション。Junior Bylesのルーツ・レゲエ名曲「A Place Called Africa」、The UpsettersによるRogers&Hartの名曲「Blue Moon」をホーン入りカバーした「Dark Moon」、ヴォーカル・ミックスが異様に小さく、その分強調されたミニマルな演奏が中毒になるThe Upsetters「Easy Snapping」など、ダブ以前のバラエティに富んだ様々な楽曲を収録。
